Relevant thereto, CLW notes this memo that recently surfaced from a state attorney general’s office out West, written by a University of Michigan law professor whose focus includes, e.g., “Using the Legal System to Address Global Warming”. For reasons including the story linked above, this seems likely to become relevant in litigation.
